This Privacy Policy explains what personal information MCS Scientific collects when you access or use the Software, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to individuals who register for, subscribe to, or use the Software. By using the Software, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
2.1 Account information. When you register, we (through our authentication provider) collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. We use this to create and secure your account.
2.2 Billing information. Subscription payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe collects and handles your payment card details directly; MCS Scientific does not receive or store full payment card numbers. We may receive limited billing information such as your billing name, the last four digits of your card, subscription status, and transaction history.
2.3 Usage and technical data. When you use the Software, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, log data, and dates and times of access, for security, authentication, and service-operation purposes.
2.4 Calculation data. The Software is a self-contained application that performs all calculations locally within your web browser, on your own device. Your calculation inputs and results are not transmitted to, collected by, or stored by MCS Scientific.
2.5 Communications. If you contact us for support or other purposes, we collect the information you provide in those communications.

The Software uses only essential cookies that are strictly necessary for sign-in, session management, and security, set through our authentication provider. We do not use advertising, analytics, or other non-essential cookies, and we do not track your activity across other websites or services.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Software, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
We and our service providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Users in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
